Why Americans are fat?

It amazes me that people fall for all the gimmicks they see on t.v., from 'fat losing pills' to diet programs. The formula is simple...eat right and exercise on a regular basis!

I've read that 60% of Americans are overweight. It's not hard to see why. Back in the days, you had a hamburger and a cheeseburger. Now everyone is trying to up the ante with triple stack and bacon bits and yada yada. Combined with fries and a soda, it's quite grotesque IMO.

Kids also get a lot less exercise. Prior to the video game era, kids actually went outside and play sports. Now they just exercise the fingers on the controller playing games all day.

I can't lie however, I used to be one of these folks. I would just eat whatever I want and whenever. But after adapting to the new lifestyle of exercising on a regular basis and eat (for the most part) healthy food...it is such a better lifestyle! Try it for a month or two and you will be hooked.
